PoolVilla Leonia is an aristocratic 17th century villa located in a green valley in the southern hills of Lucca. Today this beautifully restored historic home offers the very best in Tuscan living with all the modern conveniences. The villa is surrounded by tranquil and stunning Italian gardens with grand Cyprus and fragrant lemon trees, including two private ponds with graceful swans and a large floodlit swimming pool. Two huge dining areas are available for alfresco dining, one in front of the villa with views towards the impressive façade and the private lake and the other on the back of the villa in the Italian garden with majestic views of the surrounding area. In addition, the jasmine gazebo forms the ideal setting for a refreshing aperitif.
The large and spacious frescoed indoor spaces are filled with antique furnishings and offer an elegance sophisticated ambience throughout. There are three elegant living rooms and three kitchens, one in each floor creating a functional and comfortable layout, a breakfast room and a large formal dining room with seating for ten to twelve persons. Additional spaces include a library, a music room and a card room. The seven luxurious double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms accommodate up to fourteen guests. All the bedrooms have air conditioning, heating and Wi-Fi. Your reservation includes welcome drinks with local appetizers upon arrival and complimentary chef service and housekeeping six days a week. A personal chef will be at your disposal for preparation of breakfast and one meal either lunch or dinner. Special meals for birthdays, anniversaries and other celebrations can be also arranged at an extra cost. The cost of food and beverages is at an additional cost. Concierge service will be available throughout your stay to help you personalize your holiday and make it an unforgettable experience. If you are looking for a special gastronomical experience, the villa can organize a gala dinner and hire a Michelin Star Chef for a sensational performance. Villa Leonia is perfect for a big family, a group of friends and can be also rented for social events. The magical scenery around it offers the perfect setting for a fairy tale wedding.
During your stay at this exclusive holiday retreat you can experience wine tasting and hands-on cooking lessons conducted by the top chefs of the estate. The courses can vary from easier to more advanced levels applying to beginners, kids and more advanced customers who have developed the Italian passion for good food and fine wine. The surrounding countryside is ideal for outdoor activities and tours. Horseback riding lovers will be delighted to enjoy a ride in a beautiful horse farm only ten minutes away by car and for tennis players, there is an exclusive tennis club five minutes away by car. Some additional activities include hot air balloon and private helicopter excursions which offer the magic experience of an aerial adventure. Guided tours can be arranged to several charming medieval towns immersed in the Lucchese hills. The closest ones are the historic center of Luca, also known as the town of the one hundred churches and for its medieval walls as well as the town of Montecarlo with its beautifully preserved historical center and splendid city walls sitting on a hilltop and characterized by its extensive rolling vineyards and significant wine production.

Villa Terms:
- Rentals during high season are from Saturday to Saturday (minimum 7 nights).
- For rentals during low and mid-season, a minimum of 3 nights stay is required.
- During high season, in case of any special request, the minimum stay could be reconsidered.
- Check-in is after 4pm and check-out until 12pm. You should contact the villa manager to inform about the approximate time of arrival.
- A security deposit of €5,000 is required upon arrival in cash (in Euros). It will be returned to guests upon departure, after checking if anything has been damaged in the villa.
- Pets are allowed with an extra fee.
- No smoking permitted.
General Terms:
- For stays in countryside and rural areas, a rental car is recommended due to the limited transportation.
- Please note that prices are listed in Euros and do not include taxes or unless otherwise noted.
- The Italian government has implemented a Visitor’s Tax between €1.50 – €5.00 per person, per night and is applicable for the first 7 nights of a stay. This tax to be paid on-the-spot.

Deposit Terms:
A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total price should be submitted at the time of reservation to guarantee the booking.
Final Payment Terms:
Due 12 weeks prior to arrival (non-refundable final payment).
Cancellation Policy:
50% deposit is non-refundable. Bookings cancelled within 12 weeks prior to arrival are non-refundable and subject to a 100% cancellation fee.
