PoolDating back to the 18th century, Villa Elysium is a bright and very elegant historic villa set in one of the most panoramic places of Positano. The property has been completely restored and renovated to a luxurious 3-story villa with all the modern facilities and services while retaining the warm and charm feeling of an ancient home. The main entrance which has a small elegant terrace is 54 steps away from the main road and leads to the middle floor of the property.
The villa can comfortably accommodate ten persons in five bedrooms. The interior spaces are decorated with a mixture of classic and modern style elements. The floors feature a combination of refined wood and antique majolica tiles with unique handmade patterns following the traditional style of the Amalfi Coast. The middle floor houses one master bedroom suite with en-suite bathroom and a sitting area opening onto a beautiful private terrace overlooking the sea. One level down (20 steps below the middle floor), there are two double bedrooms and a cozy living room with a corner sofa and a large flat TV screen. On the same floor there is also a modern fully equipped kitchen including a semi-round cooking station with a six-burner gas cooker, a snack area with seating for three guests as well as some professional tools like a big electric oven, an ice maker and a meat slicer. Adjacent there is a dining room with a spectacular mixture of colours on its handmade tiles, an elegant table and chairs leading onto the main large garden terrace. Going one level up from the middle floor and main entrance hall (25 steps above the middle floor) there are two double bedrooms, two private bathrooms and one sitting area with a loft bedroom equipped with a double Japanese bed perfect accommodating two additional children.
In the 100 sqm garden terrace you can find the typical plants and trees of Positano including bougainvillea, lemon, mandarins, oranges and palm trees and you can enjoy superb views of the town, the coast and the sea under a partly shaded bamboo pergola equipped with iron sofas, armchairs and a handcrafted iron table perfect for breakfast and alfresco dining. 20 steps below the main terrace you can relax on the infinity pool and sun deck surrounded with grass. The pool can be heated during Autumn and Winter from October to March.
The property is located in a historic and picturesque area of Positano facing the sun and the sea. You can easily reach the elegant shopping streets and restaurants and beach through the narrow steps and lanes of the town.

- Bedroom 3: Double bedroom with a queen-size bed (convertible into 2 twin beds), closets and direct access to the garden terrace. Equipped with air-conditioning, wi-fi, satellite TV and mosquito nets.
- Bathroom located outside Bedroom 3 equipped with jacuzzi bathtub and shower combination. It can be used as a private bathroom for Bedroom 3.
Upper Level (25 steps above the middle floor and main entrance level):

- Mandatory Visitor’s Tax: €1.50 – €5.00 per person, per night applicable for the first 7 nights of the stay to be paid on-the-spot in cash and in Euros.
- Occupancy: Villa Elysium can comfortably accommodate 10 persons in 5 double bedrooms and 2 additional children in a loft bedroom. The above rates are valid for up to 12 guests.

Villa Terms:
- The minimum rental stay in high season is 7 nights (from Saturday to Saturday). Reservations for less than 7 nights can be considered on request.
- Check-in from 4pm to 6pm and check-out until 10 am. You should contact the villa manager to inform about the approximate time of arrival.
- A security deposit of €1,000 is required upon arrival either in cash (in Euros) or by credit card. It will be refunded to guests upon departure, after checking if anything has been damaged in the villa.
- The outdoor swimming pool is heated between the months of October and March (autumn and winter only). The maximum temperature would be 27-29 C° (80-84 F°).
- Pets are not allowed.
- No smoking permitted.
General Terms:
- For stays in the countryside and rural areas, a rental car is recommended due to the limited transportation.
- Please note that prices are listed in Euros and do not include taxes or unless otherwise noted.
- The Italian government has implemented a Visitor’s Tax between €1.50 – €5.00 per person, per night and is applicable for the first 7 nights of a stay. This tax to be paid on-the-spot.
- Extra services may be required to be paid on-the-spot in cash (in Euros). Please check with your villa specialist for more details.

Deposit Terms:
A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total price should be submitted at the time of reservation to guarantee the booking.
Final Payment Terms:
Due 12 weeks prior to arrival (non-refundable final payment).
Cancellation Policy:
50% deposit is non-refundable. Bookings canceled within 12 weeks prior to arrival are non-refundable and subject to a 100% cancellation fee.
