PoolNestled among 3 arches of private gardens and olive groves, Mansion Posidonia is an authentic aristocratic 19th century neo-classical villa located in Posidonia, a picturesque seaside village on the island of Syros also known as Della Grazia. This beautiful village is characterised by pastel coloured neo-classical mansions with exquisite architecture and lush gardens that have preserved their original look, bringing back memories of an aristocratic past and the Belle Epoque of Syros. In the 19th century, it was the favourite holiday resort for the wealthy locals of the capital who had their vacation homes there.
Mansion Posidonia is composed of the main villa and three guest houses situated on the grounds of the property, accommodating a total of fifteen guests. The main villa is a traditional two storey neo-classical villa which has been recently restored and tastefully decorated with antique furniture, vintage carpets and art pieces featuring a bohemian yet very stylish design. The ground floor houses one bedroom, a splendid living room and dining area with marble flooring and seating for nine persons and direct access to an outdoor terrace. The fully equipped country style kitchen with its marble tiled floor, blue colour painted walls and handmade units is the hub of the house. A wooden staircase leads to the first floor which features three bedrooms with access to spacious balconies offering breathtaking views over the marvelous gardens. Excellent views of the garden can be enjoyed from the conservatory which is equipped with all round glazing and thick stone walls maintaining the interior cool in the summer. The spacious terrace in the front of the house is perfect for al fresco dining including a large rough marble table over 100 years old with seating for up to fourteen guests and a barbecue. Three exterior buildings which were originally the old storehouses of the villa have been lovingly converted into three charming guest houses with separate entrances, each accommodating two persons. All the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and are fully equipped with air-conditioning.
The large gardens have several shaded cozy corners, vine covered pergolas, a selection of trees including orange, lemon, grape, pomegranade, bay and palm trees as well as plenty of clematis and bougainvillea adding splashes of colour into the surrounding landscape. The property is accessed through a heavy iron gate and it is surrounded by a wall offering a safe environment for young children. The original well in the centre of the garden has now turned into a lovely ornamental stone pond covered with wooden beams and green plants. The water feature adds a beautiful natural element to the landscape and creates a tranquil and peaceful experience to the outdoor space. On the grounds of the property there is also an outdoor swimming pool with Roman steps, sun lounges and a poolhouse surrounded by bamboo fencing which adds a sense of complete seclusion. During your stay, you can visit beaches, bars and traditional tavernas which are situated in a close proximity from the villa as well as the main town, Ermoupolis with its magnificent Venetian architecture, cobblestone lanes and marble squares.

Minimum Stay: 7 nights (from Saturday to Saturday). In case of any special request, the minimum stay could be reconsidered.
Occupancy: Mansion Posidonia and its separate guest houses have a total of 7 bedrooms and accommodate 15 persons. This includes the main villa accommodating 9 persons in 4 bedrooms and three separate guest houses accommodating 6 persons (2 persons per guest house). The guest houses can be rented only with the main villa in order to guarantee a total privacy. Six extra sleeps can be added upon request at an additional cost.

- The owner always makes it a point to meet personally the group of guests upon arrival at the port or airport and helps organise their transportation to the villa and/or with a car rental service.

Villa Terms:
- Rentals are usually from Saturday to Saturday (minimum 7 nights).
- The prices apply to the villa and the guest houses for a total of 15 guests. Extra sleeps are available at an extra cost.
- Check-in and check-out timings are flexible and depend upon the travelling schedules of the guests (boat and plane arrival/departure times). You should contact the villa manager to inform about the approximate time of arrival.
- The pool usually opens from May to October.
- Pets are allowed in the property but not on the beds and sofas since the garden is big enough.
- No smoking is permitted.
- It is recommended to rent a car for moving around the island although there are buses from/to the main town of Hermoupolis which stop at a very close distance from the property every half hour and they run until late. The duration of the trip to the port is approximately 30 minutes and there are also plenty of taxis.
- The garden is suitable to accommodate wedding receptions or parties for up to 150 guests.
General Terms:
- For stays in the countryside and rural areas, a rental car is recommended due to the limited transportation.

Deposit Terms:
A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total price should be submitted at the time of reservation to guarantee the booking.
Final Payment Terms:
Due 8 weeks prior to arrival (non-refundable final payment).
Cancellation Policy:
50% deposit is non-refundable. Bookings canceled within 8 weeks prior to arrival are non-refundable and subject to a 100% cancellation fee.
