PoolVilla del Cavaliere is a historic 18th-century villa nestled within a stunning estate at the foot of Mount Pisano in the southern outskirts of Luca. The estate is surrounded by terraced olive groves, pine forest covered hilltops and castle ruins. The walled garden around the villa offers a peaceful and relaxing setting with amazing panoramic views across the surrounding valley. The villa has its own private chapel as well as an ancient olive press. For many years the estate used to cultivate rare flowers and produce extra virgin olive oil but today it is a magnificent holiday retreat offering the very best in Tuscan living with all the modern conveniences. The restored lemon house has been converted to a fitness area with beautiful large windows overlooking the private swimming pool and sun lounges.
The interior spaces are decorated with elegant furniture while preserving some historical features such as the glittering chandeliers and the rugs. The ground floor features a spacious living room with satellite TV and DVD player, a grand dining room with seating for up to twenty-six persons, a study area and a fully equipped kitchen in Tuscan style. On the same level there is also a billiard room, a laundry room and one double bedroom. A covered arched loggia in the backyard of the villa with barbecue, offers outdoor dining for all the guests. In addition, several tables, chairs and umbrellas are available on the spacious grounds for Alfresco dining. The first floor houses a living room with breathtaking views over the garden, an elegant studio and six luxurious double bedrooms. The second floor includes a lovely attic with a wooden beamed ceiling and five luxurious double bedrooms. The eleven guest-rooms with en-suite bathrooms are decorated with beautiful frescoed walls and ceilings and accommodate twenty-two persons.
Your reservation includes a complementary housekeeping and cook service six days a week. A personal chef will be at your disposal for preparation of breakfast and one meal either lunch or dinner. Concierge service will be available throughout your stay to help you personalize your holiday and make it an unforgettable experience. During your stay at Villa del Cavaliere, you can experience wine tasting and hands-on cooking lessons conducted by the villa’s top chef. The courses can vary from easier to more advanced levels applying to beginners, kids and more advanced customers who have developed the Italian passion for good food and fine wine. Day trips and tours can be also arranged to several charming medieval towns immersed in the Lucchese hills including the historic walled city of Luca, also known as the town of the 100 churches. Villa Terms:
- Rentals during high season are from Saturday to Saturday (minimum 7 nights).
- For rentals during low and mid-season, a minimum of 3 nights stay is required.
- During high season, in case of any special request, the minimum stay could be reconsidered.
- Check-in is after 4pm and check-out until 12pm. You should contact the villa manager to inform about the approximate time of arrival.
- A security deposit of €5,000 is required upon arrival in cash (in Euros). It will be returned to guests upon departure, after checking if anything has been damaged in the villa.
- Pets are allowed with an extra fee.
- No smoking permitted.
General Terms:
- For stays in countryside and rural areas, a rental car is recommended due to the limited transportation.
- Please note that prices are listed in Euros and do not include taxes or unless otherwise noted.
- The Italian government has implemented a Visitor’s Tax between €1.50 – €5.00 per person, per night and is applicable for the first 7 nights of a stay. This tax to be paid on-the-spot.

Deposit Terms:
A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total price should be submitted at the time of reservation to guarantee the booking.
Final Payment Terms:
Due 12 weeks prior to arrival (non-refundable final payment).
Cancellation Policy:
50% deposit is non-refundable. Bookings cancelled within 12 weeks prior to arrival are non-refundable and subject to a 100% cancellation fee.
